Position Start Date: Immediate Contract Type: Part-time Contract Term: Temporary
Application Close: 23/02/2025 Midnight Date of Interviews: As soon as possible
St. George's Catholic Primary School is looking to build a small team of enthusiastic and highly-motivated supply teachers to join us on a zero hours contract.
This would suit somebody who is often available at short notice to come in to provide cover (e.g., staff sickness, training, etc.).
St. George's was judged to be an OUTSTANDING Catholic school (S48 Inspection, February 2024) and a GOOD school by Ofsted in January 2023.
Our school provides a happy, calm atmosphere with delightful children, a wonderful learning environment, and supportive colleagues, governors, and parents.
The successful candidate will need to be a strong practitioner committed to achieving high standards of pupils' learning and capable of teaching imaginatively.
The post would suit somebody who is either a practising Catholic or willing to support the strong Catholic ethos of our school.
The Governing Body is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
The appointment is subject to satisfactory references, medical, and enhanced DBS checks.
Visits to the school are warmly welcomed and encouraged.
For more details, please contact Mrs. Delgado (Head Teacher) via the school office (01702 293522).
Interviews will be held as soon as possible, as and when candidates contact us, and the advert may close early in that case.
Information about the School
St. George's is a living community that strives to provide an outstanding education for all our children through the combined efforts of teachers, parents, support staff, governors, and parishioners.
Our Vision is the starting point for all that we do:
At St George’s, God calls us by name to love, learn and achieve together, safe in the palm of His hands.
‘I have called you by your name; you are mine’ Isaiah 43
We aim to be a Christian community and witnesses to Christ, where all can experience and grow in Christian love, through God's word and the gifts of His sacraments, and through prayer and personal example.
All appointments are subject to safer recruitment requirements to ensure the safeguarding of children and young people. All positions will involve appropriate checks and clearances.
