Garden Centre Designate Assistant Manager
We are excited to welcome a full-time Designate Garden Centre Assistant Manager to our Klondyke team.

* Hours 42.5 per week over 5 daysincluding regular weekends.

The Role
Upon completing your initial training as the Designate Garden Centre Assistant Manager, you will be expected to travel to any of our central Scotland centres as a relief manager to cover absence, holidays, or business needs.
You will oversee the management of all Indoor Garden Centre areas, working closely with the Garden Centre Manager and Plant Area Manager. Together, you'll provide duty management cover across the entire site, aiming to achieve sales and profit targets. You'll also motivate your team to seize opportunities and inspire them to deliver the highest standards of customer service.
When a vacancy arises, you will be appointed to a centre on a permanent basis.
What will you be doing as a Designate Garden Centre Assistant Manager?
* Overseeing daily operations: managing stock levels, merchandising standards, and customer service.
* Inspiring your team: creating stunning product displays with accurate and informative point-of-sale (POS) materials.
* Developing your team: enhancing their skills in customer service, merchandising standards, and product knowledge.
* Handling administrative tasks: managing daily back-office duties efficiently.
* Ensuring smooth operations: supporting warehouse and goods-in processes.
* Maintaining cleanliness: managing regular cleaning and housekeeping tasks as needed.
