Summary
Are you ready to take on a role that will amplify corporate action on climate change across the globe? As our Senior Project Officer, you'll be at the heart of Climate Group's groundbreaking energy campaigns, driving real impact alongside some of the world's largest corporations.
Working across both our Energy Efficiency campaign and our pioneering 24/7 Carbon Free Coalition, you'll play a vital role in accelerating decarbonisation efforts worldwide. This role isn't just about contributing to projects; it's about supporting Climate Group to lead ambitious actions and inspire companies to push the boundaries of what's possible in energy efficiency and carbon-free electricity.
The campaigns:
Energy Efficiency: Climate Group's global EP100 initiative brings together over 100 energy-smart companies committed to using energy more productively, to lower greenhouse gas emissions and accelerate a clean economy. Now in its 7th year, we are looking to reshape and grow EP100 to meet the growing need for ambitious action.
24/7 Carbon Free Coalition: Climate Group's RE100 campaign brings together over 400 companies committed to 100% renewable electricity based on annual matching. We're now excited to have launched (in September 2024) the pilot of our next-stage 24/7 Carbon Free Coalition that pushes the frontiers of energy markets with an objective to help corporates move towards sourcing 100% carbon free electricity, 24 hours per day 7 days per week.
