Infexis is developing new therapies to meet the rising burden of critical priority infectious diseases. Based at Alderley Park in the North West of England, we have a pipeline of drugs in preclinical and clinical development to treat patients suffering from life-threatening infections.
As part of the continued development of the company, we are now looking to appoint an enthusiastic Finance Manager to work alongside the CFO and Finance Administrator to provide accurate and up-to-date financial reporting to the Board and Science Team.
Key Responsibilities
1. Ensure the accuracy and integrity of the company’s accounting records and financial systems
2. Cash Management
3. Preparation of the management accounts and supporting reports
4. Maintain fixed asset register
5. Preparation of VAT returns
6. Collate monthly salary information for payroll
7. Prepare Monthly Project Reports
8. Prepare & submit grant claims & assist with grant applications when required
9. Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts
10. Responsible for one member of staff
11. Assist in all other ad hoc projects as and when required
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
1. Experience with general finance & preparation of accounts
2. Attention to detail and an ability to multi-task
3. Excellent IT skills are required, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook); previous use of accounting packages (Sage Line 50) would be preferable

Salary & Hours
This is a part-time role of approximately 16-20 hours per week (this may change depending on the activity levels of the business), and the working hours would be flexible to be agreed between both parties. Salary will be commensurate with experience & pro-rata based on hours agreed.
This role will be a combination of on-site & off-site working.
