EMEA Demand Planning Team Leader
Salary: £47,000 - £50,000 per annum
Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 08:30am - 17:30pm
Location: Office based, Southampton (Hybrid 2 days per week after Probation period)
Purpose of the job;
Reporting to the Senior EMEA Demand Planner, as the EMEA Demand Planning Team Leader, you lead a team of Demand Planners. Overall, you will be responsible for their performance by ensuring a highly motivating team and working according to the set processes.
Key Duties & Responsibilities;
* Ensure a high level of performance and quality in your team.
* Must have a deep understanding of the Demand Planning processes and functions.
* Furthermore, you will be responsible for effective resource allocation within your team, by encouraging, motivating, and coaching the team toward a high-performance culture.
* Create an environment with an open communication culture.
* Manage the daily operation and staff including scheduling and planning of vacation and other absence.
* Ensure key performance indicators are followed as set by EMEA Demand Planning Manager.
* Coordinate and facilitate individual goal setting for the team.
* Arrange Team meeting weekly to keep up to date with team performance and potential challenges.
* Follow up on education and ensure an ongoing coaching of soft and professional skills together with the other Demand Planners.
* Work closely with the “EMEA Demand Planning Manager” to support and implement new processes as well as adherence to current processes.
* Work with Order Management team to ensure correct dating of orders to avoid unnecessary past-due orders and meet customer expectations (Supply Commit).
* Foresee, monitor and communicate potential breaks/shortage in supply towards the EMEA demand planner.
* Regular reporting on Team performance to EMEA Demand Planning Manager.
* Ensure team provide necessary analyses for CFR and other meetings.
* Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Education & Experience;
* Excellent management skill
* Several years’ experience of leading and manage a team
* Two to Three years Supply Chain background
* Excellent written, verbal and detailed analytical skills
* Can-do, collaborative attitude.
* Must be flexible and able to work in a fast paced environment
* Highly motivated self starter.
* Proficient computer skills, particularly excel.
* Oracle experience an advantage
