Job Description
We’re recruiting for a Marketing Planning Manager to join us on a 12-month FTC. We’re offering a competitive base salary and strong benefits package. You will be managing the annual marketing planning processes to produce robust marketing plans and re-forecasts that align with the Product, Proposition and Commercial strategies and that are optimised for product enhancements and external market conditions. You will also manage the Retirement Direct Marketing channel monthly and weekly performance reporting, monitoring key indicators and identifying trends.What you'll be doing:
1. Co-ordinating the annual marketing planning process; quarterly and monthly reforecast, including phased plans; to deliver commercial value, budget, marketing ratio and NBVA outputs
2. Day to day budget and accrual management, key contact with Finance to manage finance processes
3. Providing performance and marketing MI and running key governance, trading and performance meetings
4. Building and nurturing collaborative working relationships with key stakeholders across the Retirement businesses
5. Competitor and market monitoring and analysis to feed into the planning processes
6. Working closely with the Data Science team to ensure latest marketing analytics, attribution, econometrics, customer segment and LTV data and methodology is fed into the marketing planning and reforecast processes
7. Optimising and improving processes and performance monitoring by implementing and embedding automation
8. Working with the relevant Product & Proposition and Commercial teams to ensure that the marketing strategy and plans are aligned with and optimised for product enhancements and driving value metrics
9. Ensuring that we adhere to the FCA’s guidance on Treating Customers Fairly (TCF) in all solutions we deliver by working closely and collaboratively with the Conduct Risk team
QualificationsWho we're looking for:
10. Excellent knowledge and experience of developing, implementing and co-ordinating marketing planning processes
11. Excellent understanding of marketing performance metrics and reporting
12. Experience of budget management and finance processes
13. Strong analytical mindset
14. Experience within a marketing function with some understanding of SEO and PPC channels
15. Experience with PowerBi
16. Experience with Python as a bonus
