Job Summary:
Reporting to the VP of Global Sales and Customer Success, the UK/EU Sales Leader will be an integral member of their functional leadership team and contribute to their collaborative, accountable, results-driven culture.
You will manage the direct sales team and promote the company’s portfolio of custom products, focusing on creating new customer partnerships and understanding the customer’s current and future needs within the life sciences industry. You will also oversee the EMEA and APAC channel partner strategy along with key customers to represent the entire range of company products and services.
This position is responsible for the direct daily management of the UK/EU sales team, driving profitable sales growth, and working as a partner with all other functional leaders to develop and drive the strategic plan and performance of the overall business.
Responsibilities:
1. Direct daily management of the sales team including coaching, ride-along travel days, territory planning, presentations, and assisting in managing large complex deals.
2. Ensure sales growth to quota performance, develop a pipeline for new opportunities and projects, protect margin, and complete forecasts.
3. Develop a high-performance sales team focused on growth and winning new business, accountable for results, and respected by customers and the marketplace.
4. Work with the sales team to establish and execute a comprehensive sales plan for each target account, including custom, OEM, and private label services.
5. Utilize key metrics and best practices to drive accountability and improve performance and accelerate growth.
6. Develop and maintain good relationships with key accounts and priority customers through focused client visits with the sales team to ensure high levels of satisfaction on issues and needs.
7. Define and deploy world-class processes and tools to support the sales team’s effectiveness, accountability, and efficiency including sales funnel management, CRM compliance, and sales forecasting.
