Job summary The role is responsible for the development, deployment, on-going management and evolution of the Trust's data warehouse environment, which consists of multiple SQL Server databases that capture data from the Trust's PAS, EPR, RIS and other disparate internal and external data sources. As a Senior Developer, you will contribute extensively to the delivery of pro-active and innovative business intelligence support to the Trust, working with the Divisions and other stakeholders to ensure that information flows and reports are available to support and improve healthcare delivery and enable the Divisions to meet the Trust's objectives. Main duties of the job The appointed candidate will be required to work with key Divisional staff, Finance, other Trust staff and external stakeholders, providing specialist advice and guidance on matters pertaining to the Trust's data warehouse. A specific area of responsibility will be to oversee finance developments. Candidates should be able to demonstrate knowledge and experience of working with NHS informatics data, including the NHS data dictionary, SUS, PbR, SLAM and HRG groupers and should also have an appreciation of Data Quality. The post holder will be expected to demonstrate excellent communication skills and exceptional IT skills, including proficient use of Microsoft Office and knowledge and experience of working with all aspects of SQL server, including T-SQL, ETL (SSIS), SSAS and SSRS.
