If so, we have the perfect opportunity for you at Sittingbourne Vets4Pets We are looking for a Veterinary Surgeon to join our supportive and thoughtful team, who strive to offer the best standards of care to their clients and their pets. We have been open for 8 years and have an ultrasound, in house lab and x-ray. We also convert our x-ray room into a euthanasia room so that it is more comfortable and not so clinical for those difficult times. We do all of the routine surgeries plus orthopaedic ops. We have 2 full time vets, 5 qualified nurses, 1 VCA and 4 receptionists. We are a very friendly, bubbly team, with always time for tea, cake, and a chat. We are a member of the practice standards scheme and have an good award for client service, we take great pride in being known to the public for our friendly, welcoming service. We are looking for a veterinary surgeon with minimum 2 years’ experience who is confident, friendly, and enthusiastic with great communication skills. You'll have good general small animal surgical and medical abilities and a desire to learn and improve. We have a varied caseload, and you should be flexible and work well under pressure. Animal welfare is important to us, and you should share the same ethos. The role is a full-time role working 40 hours a week including 1 in 3 weekends and no OOHs. Flexible working is readily available with school hours an option.
