Job Title: Senior/Principal/Chartered Fire Engineer

Role Overview: As a Senior/Principal/Chartered Fire Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing fire safety strategies for diverse building projects, ensuring compliance with the Building Regulations, particularly Approved Document B (ADB). You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality fire engineering solutions, contributing to the safety and integrity of various structures.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop comprehensive fire safety strategies for a variety of building types and sectors.
Ensure all designs comply with Building Regulations, focusing on Approved Document B (ADB).
Lead fire engineering projects from concept through to completion, maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
Conduct fire risk assessments and provide recommendations for mitigation.
Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate fire safety solutions seamlessly into building designs.
Mentor and support junior fire engineers, fostering professional development within the team.
Stay abreast of the latest developments in fire safety regulations and technologies.Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Fire Engineering or a related discipline.
Chartered status with a recognized professional body (e.g., IFE) is preferred.
Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in fire engineering, with a proven track record in developing fire strategies and ensuring compliance with ADB.
Strong understanding of UK Building Regulations and fire safety standards.
Excellent project management skills, with the ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse teams.
