A long established company, operating in the Foodservice Equipment / Hospitality sector, requires an experienced Managing Director to lead and manage the organization in its next phase of growth.
You will be an experienced manager, currently heading up an organization or in the position where you are ready to assume a leadership role. It is worth pointing out, the company is not large in terms of direct full time employees. However, it punches well above its weight by outsourcing many key business processes and has significant turnover. The role therefore carries a great deal of responsibility.
As an ideal candidate, you will be a Managing Director with perhaps the experience of leading smaller organizations but with the sophistication to manage and foster relationships with large multi-national suppliers, key outsource partners and clients. You will be able to demonstrate a high level of success both in your internal and external relationships and communications. Highly developed negotiation skills are seen as a key requirement for this role.
The ability to achieve the best from colleagues in developing the business proposition and resultant activities for planned growth and satisfaction across the multi-faceted strands of the Company is essential.
Board level reporting including analysis and expansion of available data will be a key internal requisite as will the presentation of this valuable information. Being highly numerate, with a strong proficiency in MS Excel is a must.
As an established and successful business, we are looking for a sympathetic leader. A self-starting, entrepreneurial and inspirational leader with excellent communication and people skills. Wholesale changes to business structure may or may not be required, but evolution not revolution is most likely the best approach in the early stages.
The role will suit individuals currently working as Managing Director, Commercial Director, Operations Director, CEO and be living within a commutable distance of London, Oxford, Cambridge, Bristol, Birmingham, Northampton, Nottingham, Manchester, Leeds, Newcastle-upon-Tyne, Glasgow, Edinburgh or be willing to relocate.
