Role Overview:
The successful candidate will spearhead business development initiatives, fostering and maintaining robust client relationships. Utilising existing networks and contacts, the solicitor will actively seek new business prospects. The role involves engaging in various marketing and business development activities to broaden the firm's client base.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead business development efforts, nurturing and expanding client relationships.
* Identify and pursue new business prospects, engaging in marketing activities to grow the firm's clientele.
* Participate in networking events, industry conferences, and seminars to enhance the firm’s reputation and showcase its employment law expertise.
* Provide expert legal advice on a broad spectrum of employment law matters to both corporate clients and individuals.
* Manage complex employment cases, including discrimination claims and unfair dismissals.
* Draft and advise on employment documentation, such as contracts, policies, and grievance procedures.
* Oversee all aspects of the employment tribunal process, including drafting legal documents, attending hearings, and preparing witness statements and trial bundles.
* Collaborate with commercial and corporate departments to advise on employment issues related to share and asset sales (TUPE).
* Work closely with partners, associates, and support staff to deliver comprehensive legal services.
* Stay updated on changes in employment law, informing clients of relevant updates and their implications.
