Job Title: Scheme Project Manager
Location: Glasgow (with projects across Scotland)
Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent
Contract Scotland is proud to partner with a well-regarded, multi-disciplined Civil Engineering contractor, specialising in industrial services, civils, and infrastructure projects. Due to continued growth, they are seeking a Scheme Project Manager to oversee and deliver key infrastructure projects, including civil structural renewals across Scotland’s rail network.
Key Responsibilities:
* Health & Safety: Ensure strict adherence to all health and safety regulations on-site.
* Leadership: Provide guidance and motivation to site staff across multiple live projects.
* Project Management: Manage projects from initial design to final handover, ensuring deadlines and client specifications are met.
* Procurement & Productivity: Implement and manage procurement schedules and track productivity.
* Risk Management: Identify project risks and implement effective mitigation strategies.
* Value Engineering: Lead design improvements to enhance project outcomes.
* Reporting & Sub-contractor Management: Prepare progress reports and manage sub-contractors to ensure quality and efficiency.
Qualifications & Experience:
* Demonstrable experience as a Project Manager, Senior Engineer, Sub Agent, or Site Manager.
* Strong background in civil engineering, with a preference for experience in rail, structural, and heavy civil projects.
* A minimum qualification of HNC/HND in a relevant discipline.
* Excellent stakeholder management skills.
