Under the general direction of the Associate Director or designee, the Project Coordinator is responsible for managing multiple complex projects. The Project Coordinator is responsible for new revenue generation, sustainable growth, long-term viability, and for developing and stewarding relationships with community organizations, non-profits, and corporate enterprises in an accurate and timely manner.
* Assess project viability and relevance, plan and execute next steps, steward and coordinate external and internal relationships to insure successful delivery
* Generate revenue, per annual review goals, through direct services and web-based projects designed for community, non-profit, and corporate clients
* Identify new clients and projects for workplace research suitability
* Manage the research process, oversee data gathering; publish results
* Create and manage the approved budget. Report monthly on revenue and expense detail. Manage two distinct revenue streams: fee for service programs and grant funding
* Cultivate and steward clients. Insure that programs are tailored to meet their needs, manage ongoing client communications, assess future needs, and make recommendations for repeat or advanced programming training
* Submit an annual strategy for project innovation and growth, lead strategy planning sessions and participate in determining the final plan. Determine and manage the resources necessary to meet or exceed the plan. Execute the plan and lead the team to completion
* Develop a marketing and communications plan, design branding, coordinate external marketing initiatives with high level initiatives, measure the success of marketing and communication efforts, and adjust plans as needed to insure maximum reach and visibility for minimum expense
* Coordinate all program-related processes from conception to actualization, assign teachers and staff as available and appropriate. Provide feedback data on teachers during the annual review process and more frequently when required
* Supervise support staff with direct responsibility for performance management, on-the-job direction, and the establishment and measurement of goals
* Assess staff and program efficacy. Respond to and manage feedback from clients
* Insure long-term growth and sustainability of the mission through continued development of multiple projects
* Identify and pursue grant funding opportunities from foundations where appropriate, complete applications and proposals per grant specifications, compile data for deliverables, and manage process and follow-up
* Determine need for data management tools, insure accuracy and completion of data, analyze data, and produce reports and recommendations
* Perform other duties as required.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
* Bachelor’s degree in Business, a related field, or equivalent experience
* 3 years of relevant experience
* Demonstrated ability to prioritize and problem-solve
* Demonstrated ability to manage time and direct the work of others to meet deadlines
* Working knowledge of MSWord, EXCEL, and PowerPoint. Familiar with basic data base functionality. Demonstrated experience in working with various forms of technology and digital media
* Demonstrated ability to develop and coordinate budgets
* Possess the organizational, interpersonal, verbal, and written skills necessary to interact effectively, externally and internally, at all levels
* Ability to travel to off-site locations.
