Here at Long-Term Teachers, we work with several Primary Schools in the Bristol and South Gloucestershire area that are in need of confident Cover Supervisors to support lesson delivery during absences.
We are looking for adaptable and proactive Cover Supervisors with experience working with children in a group setting or with strong educational knowledge. You will play a key role in maintaining positive learning environments by supervising classes during teacher absences.
You will have the opportunity to work in various classroom settings based on your preferences, including EYFS, KS1, and/or KS2, delivering engaging lessons.
The Role
This role offers flexibility to suit your needs. Working with Long-Term Teachers allows you to work full-time or part-time to fit your commitments. Responsibilities include:
* Delivering pre-planned lessons set by absent teachers
* Managing pupil behaviour inside and outside the classroom
* Assessing children’s development and understanding
* Adapting work to ensure accessibility for all children
* Supporting SEND children alongside the class TA
