We are seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Assistant to join our team on a part-time basis, working 2 days a week, ideally on Monday and Tuesday. This role involves managing payroll for both permanent and bank staff, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Collating travel allowances and ensuring all relevant data is captured accurately
Entering payroll data into Excel spreadsheets and maintaining records
Running payroll for circa 134 permanent staff, with additional payroll for bank staff on an ad-hoc basis
Managing weekly and monthly payroll cycles
Ensuring all rates and allowances are accurate before processing
Handling payroll-related queries from staff in a timely manner
Skills & Experience:
Proficiency in Excel for data entry and payroll management
Experience with Sage 50 Payroll is highly desirable
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial data
Prior experience in payroll processing is beneficial
