The client is a project delivery consultancy based in London. Working nationwide, the team combines Project Managers, Quantity Surveyors and Clerk of Works working across projects in the residential, commercial and education sectors. The in-house experts combine a depth of experience and knowledge with the ability to develop good working relationships and maintain clear communications.
The Clerk of Works provide regular presence on site, bi-weekly reporting to client teams, and monthly summary reports identifying progress and key issues.
The role involves inspecting and reporting on the quality of works across London & South East as projects progress, ensuring compliance with contract documents, building regulations and home warranty provider requirements. You will be inspecting all elements of the build including passive fire stopping installations. This role is important to ensure quality at all stages of the construction phase through to Practical Completion and the end of the Defects Liability Period. You will monitor and report on quality of residential, commercial and education projects.
