We are seeking to appoint a enthusiastic and talented teacher to join our Physics Department from September 2025.
Physics is a very successful and popular subject at St Helen’s, with good numbers regularly moving on to study scientific subjects at university, therefore the successful applicant will be able to demonstrate extensive subject knowledge and can inspire and motivate students to work independently. A genuine passion for teaching Physics and a commitment to a full and inclusive extracurricular programme are essential. Some experience in teaching Mathematics is desirable but not essential.
This is a permanent part-time position, with a starting timetable in the region of 15 periods per week out of 30 periods.
All staff share the responsibility for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of the students, in accordance with the School’s safeguarding policies.
