Key Skills and Qualifications
We are seeking a highly skilled Geotechnical Engineer with a strong understanding of geotechnical engineering principles and experience in conducting site investigations and preparing detailed reports. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in geotechnical or civil engineering, preferably within a consultancy environment. A bachelor's or master's degree in civil engineering, geology, geotechnical engineering or a related field is required, as well as a strong analytical and problem-solving skills and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Conduct geotechnical investigations and prepare detailed reports for clients.
- Perform slope stability analyses, settlement calculations, and other related assessments.
- Develop and implement geotechnical designs for various infrastructure projects.
- Collaborate with other engineers, technicians, and project managers to deliver successful projects.
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
Benefits
A competitive salary, approximately £45,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a benefit package and opportunities for growth and development.
