About the Role
The Lead Vulnerability Researcher will play a key role in standing up an industry-leading security facility and tackling some of the most interesting cyber problems with a tangible impact on national security. The successful candidate will have a unique experience working on the latest cyber security and networking technologies on a national and international scale.
This opportunity will provide first-hand exposure to cutting-edge technologies and allow the candidate to interact with senior government department officials, communications industry leaders, and academic professionals. The role will be part of a small team of Vulnerability Researchers and will require a focus on consistent learning and development of both self and the team.
About the Team
The team will be responsible for developing and encouraging a wider network of VR specialists across the telecoms industry to support knowledge sharing and skills development. The successful candidate will be instrumental in driving this initiative forward.
Requirements
* Experience in multiple VR roles and/or organisations.
* An interest and aptitude for vulnerability research.
* A passion for understanding how things work and testing them to their limits.
* A deep understanding of hardware and software development lifecycles and their impact on security practices.
* Applied knowledge of cryptographic algorithms and their uses.
