Salary: £13.50 per hour

Hours: 21 hours per week

About the role
You will be expected to work a variety of different shifts which will include morning, afternoon, evening, and occasional night shifts (depending on the needs of the clients) and weekends. You will also be expected to work on bank holidays.

Do you have an NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care or the care certificate?
Here at SignHealth, we are currently recruiting for individuals to join our team in providing high-quality health and social care support to deaf individuals, many of whom have mental health conditions.
We are looking for independent, dynamic, compassionate, and hardworking individuals who can support individuals living in our community to help them become as independent as possible.
As an Outreach Worker, you will undertake a range of tasks, including working closely with our clients to develop supportive relationships, supporting clients in independent skills, providing emotional support, developing personalised plans, and ensuring a professional service is maintained.
You will liaise with statutory authorities to fully access new referrals and reviews, social workers, and other professionals. The work you will carry out is interesting, challenging, and rewarding.
Due to the nature of this position, you will need to have a minimum of Level 2 British Sign Language, understand the importance of sensitive data, and store data in line with GDPR regulations, care regulations, and CQC guidelines.
If you have knowledge of safeguarding, working with young people, adults at risk, or adults in crisis, this would be helpful but not essential.
