The Global Real Estate (GRE) team supports the business by delivering project management services, leasing and transaction services, lease administration and facility management services. In addition, GRE provides strategic portfolio planning support to the business through the Client Solutions function which is charged with leveraging all the functional expertise and analytical capabilities of GRE to deliver value added and comprehensive solutions to the business issues involving real estate including consolidations, expansions and M&A.
The Global Real Estate Manager will be a key integrator role for the various GRE functions that directly support core Iron Mountain businesses. The candidate will report to the Head of Real Estate Strategy and Financial Operations and combine analytics, program creation and management, strategy development, and presentation functions.

Your role in our mission:
* One of the primary focuses of this position will be analysis of the Global Real Estate portfolio
* Support the development of a multi-disciplinary centralized real estate function that supports business challenges and key initiatives Globally
* Assist in the development of a global real estate transformation roadmap which charts an executable KPI based plan for 2025 - 2030. Key metrics of performance are Storage Density (Cubic Feet per SF), Utilization, Cost per Cubic Feet, and Cost per SF.
* Support the global real estate team’s regional Strategy, Planning, and Transaction Management process to develop short, medium and long term real estate strategies that support business objectives by delivering an optimized real estate portfolio
* Interact regularly with peers in the business and in staff functions to ensure that the real estate team accurately responds to the needs of Iron Mountain’s global business.
* Collect, consolidate and disseminate key business data and intelligence to aid GRE in the development of overall portfolio strategy and operational plans
* Assist as needed in GRE’s financial reporting to Corporate Finance as it relates to portfolio related initiatives including preparation of NA ICOM business cases
* Take the lead role in producing and delivering clear and concise executive level presentations on a variety of topics to members of IM’s Executive Leadership team as directed by the head of Real Estate Strategy and Financial Operations
* Work with regional Operations Team Leadership to produce all tracking documents necessary as it relates to the progress of moves and vacates dedicated by the Multi-year Real Estate plan.
* Support the Global REIT Reporting process
* Support ad hoc financial analysis for the GRE team as requested
Valued skills and experience:
* Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in business, real estate finance, finance/accounting, or other related area is required. Graduate degree in a related field is preferred.
* Broad business experience with an emphasis on understanding accounting, real estate finance or business finance. Experience in real estate valuation methodologies and modeling experience strongly preferred.
