Are you an experienced and passionate Occupational Therapist ? If so, I have a position with a leading rehabilitation service in Halifax, dedicated to supporting individuals with complex mental health needs and promoting recovery. There will be regular travel to 2 other sites in Leeds (mileage allowance will be paid for this). About the Role: As a Band 6 Occupational Therapist, you will: Provide high-quality OT interventions to promote recovery and independence. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to create individualised care plans. Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify strengths and challenges in self-care, productivity, and leisure. Deliver group and one-to-one interventions that enhance daily living skills and encourage social inclusion. Lead the development of OT pathways and contribute to service-wide improvements. Occasionally travel to support our multisite services. Key Responsibilities: Manage a varied caseload under the guidance of the Lead Occupational Therapist. Develop, implement, and review personalised therapy goals with service users. Promote community engagement and social participation through meaningful activities. Mentor support staff and provide fieldwork placements for OT students. What You'll Need: A recognised Diploma/Degree in Occupational Therapy. HCPC registration. At least 3 years of post-graduate experience, including a minimum of 2 years in mental health.
