Here at Fresh, we are excited to be recruiting for a housekeeper at our outstanding student accommodation The Oldway Centre based in Swansea’s vibrant city centre. This position offers part time hours of 30 hours per week, working Monday to Friday 7.30am to 1.30pm where you’ll be working in a rewarding, collaborative, people-first environment. Our Housekeepers work under the direction of the management team to provide a proactive, responsive cleaning service. As a Housekeeper your main responsibilities will include: Cleaning the communal areas of the building including hallways, stairwells, common rooms, laundrette, windows, and the management suite. Deep clean of bedroom and kitchens at required times for example handover, holidays etc. Always ensuring the security of the building, reporting any security or maintenance issues immediately, this includes spillages in the building. Ensure the correct disposal of rubbish in the allocated bins making sure that access routes are not blocked. Carry out cleaning duties on the external building to ensure the site is correctly presented. Checking that cleaning materials are well stocked and stored correctly, including COSHH products. Being fully knowledgeable on the fire evacuation procedure and assisting in the procedure when necessary. About you: We’re looking for a highly motivated person who has a keen eye for detail. You’ll need previous cleaning experience, either commercial or domestic and a good understanding of Health and Safety legalisations. We look for our Housekeepers to be results orientated people, who take ownership and pride in their work. Due to the nature of this role, you’ll need to be able to work to instruction and also use your own initiative to solve problems.
