Come and join our team at Release Ayrshire, a mens mental health charity focussed on increasing awareness to reduce the stigma around mens mental health. - we are currently looking for a Charity Co-ordinator to help us push our charity to the next level. We have secured funding from The National Lottery for a 12 month contract (20 hours minimum per week). This role is a self employed role.
* The duties and responsibilities of a Charity/Fundraising Coordinator include:
* Work with the Board of Trustees and assist with designing and implementing development strategies.
* Planning, coordinating, and executing various fundraising events.
* Identifying and build positive relationships with funders, sponsors and collaboration partners which will aid in securing funding for future stability.
* Working closely with other team members/volunteers to ensure smooth operation of fundraising events.
* Monitoring and reporting on the success of fundraising strategies and events.
* Creating and delivering presentations throughout Ayrshire to raise awareness about the organisation’s cause.
* Attend local events to educate the public on the charity.
* Work in partnership with community groups – maintaining and creating relationships through online/face to face meeting.
* Maintaining a funder/donation database and record all acknowledgments and communications with donors.
* Maintain and update a community partnership database.
* Process and post online orders.
* Monitor and analyse feedback and provide impact reports.
* Provide regular written and verbal updates to the Board of Trustees (and volunteers when required) and attend meetings as required.
* Assist with activity/event scheduling with existing volunteers.
* Liaise with volunteers regularly to offer support, discuss any relevant training opportunities and utilise their skills where needed.
* Provide a positive point of contact for the charity.

* Knowledge of charity workings
* Previous experience with funding applications.

* Driving license.
This post has been funded by The National Lottery and has a contract length of 12 months - We will ideally look for further funding throughout the year to allow us to continue the contract, however this is not guaranteed.
This post is advertised as a Self Employed Post - The candidate will be responsible for handing in their time sheet on a weekly basis to receive payment weekly.
The charity van only be used for work purposes and not for personal use.
A charity mobile phone and laptop will also be provided for work use.
