We are a group of 13 partners with one site in Cottingham and 4 in Beverley. This role will support our Finance Manager to operate the accounts, finance, and payroll.
Although at least one day will be based in Cottingham, the other days can be at other sites and will be based on discussions with the successful applicant.
Main duties of the job
Assist and support the Finance Manager and the Group Manager by managing financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, and assisting with the daily running of the finance for the practice, including invoices, payments, and receipts.
This role ensures that financial processes are running smoothly and efficiently, contributing to the financial health of the practice.
You will check invoices and supplier statements and maintain an up-to-date record of suppliers and customers, currently operating on Excel.
You must be able to work to timescales and maintain an effective working relationship with other individuals (at all levels) and offer assistance when required to deliver a high level of customer satisfaction.

Qualifications
1. GCSE (or equivalent) A to C in English and Mathematics
2. Previous experience in a finance environment
3. Use of computerized financial systems
4. Ability to multitask and work to deadlines effectively
5. Knowledge and use of Excel, Word, etc.
6. Previous use of IRIS accounts and payroll
7. Previous experience of sales and purchase ledgers
