SEN Personal Care Teaching Assistant needed in a Mainstream Primary School
5 days per week term time (8:30am - 3.30pm)

A popular mainstream primary school in Solihull is looking for a SEN Teaching Assistant who is comfortable helping with Personal Care to work within their school and help generally across all year groups with children who have complex needs.
This is an exciting opportunity to work in a very well-respected and popular school which has a warm feel to it and is a great opportunity to gain long-term employment.
The hours are 8.30am - 3.30pm, Monday to Friday during term time.
This role involves being proactive and passionate, and you must have the initiative to get involved and help the children when they are distressed or in situations that may need de-escalating.
Your responsibilities will include providing one-to-one support and creating close relationships with the students; therefore, it is essential that you are passionate about getting the very best from the students and their learning and committed to creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Requirements:
* Level 2 / 3 Qualification in Supporting and Learning in Schools is preferred but not essential
* SEN experience is essential as the needs of the children are complex and the role requires personal care
* Experience in a similar role is essential as we need to be able to reference your experience
* Flexibility and adaptability
* DBS - Full enhanced CHILD ONLY
* x2 references to show education/childcare-related experience
