Job title: Equipment Engineering Team Leader Location: Warton/ Samlesbury/ Filton/ Prestwick - We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements - please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role Salary: £54,793 (dependent on skills and experience) (This role will require you to travel to Warton site occasionally) What you'll be doing: Managing a team of Equipment Engineers, across different equipment programmes Supporting Supplier engagement and management of equipment programmes Supporting Supplier Design Reviews and reviewing Supplier documentation Supporting the Aircraft build lines at Warton/ Samlesbury and across Europe, whilst also supporting in-service customers Supporting internal test and development activities, including provision of rig and flight test support Ensuring that team deliverables are completed in line with safety, schedule, cost and quality requirements Using toolsets to manage team workload and tasking, whilst also providing data for reporting to internal stakeholders Working with System Architects, Airframe Specialists, Project teams and Suppliers to define and agree the specifications for Airborne equipment requirements Your skills and experiences: Essential: Degree in a STEM subject or equivalent with relevant experience gained in an aircraft engineering project or related field Ability to develop and present a range of complex data to a variety of stakeholders Ability to identify and pro-actively resolve issues impacting Program, escalating any issues for resolutions by exception Good understanding of the 'V' Lifecycle and its application to the production of qualification/ certification requirements Experience in liaising and managing customer and supplier relationship Desirable: Good knowledge of Aircrafts, familiarity with Typhoon is advantageous Good understanding of the D&C (Displays & Controls) and IMRS (Integrated Monitoring Recording System) sub systems is desirable Benefits: You'll receive benefits including a competitive pension scheme, enhanced annual leave allowance and a Company contributed Share Incentive Plan. Team members have the unique opportunity to work across a range of projects, focusing on new equipment that must be designed, tested, and cleared for active service. This end-to-end involvement provides them with comprehensive exposure to the product lifecycle and the chance to build and enhance their expertise in specific areas of the platform.
