A Commercial and Personal Lines Insurance brokers providing Insurance solutions to both businesses and individuals with offices in Cheltenham now have the opportunity for Renewals Operation Manager to join their team.

Overview:
1. To deliver the vision and strategy set for the department.
2. To manage the day-to-day trading/operations of the Branch/Department.
3. To ensure all SLAs and performance metrics meet or exceed target.
4. To lead, inspire, motivate, challenge, and develop staff.
5. To develop and maintain high morale and a good team spirit.

6. Previous Leadership Experience
7. Previous Property Insurance Experience
8. Excellent relationship skills able to operate effectively at all levels of the organisation, with customers and other external stakeholders, with the desire to build a strong network in the insurance space.
9. Strong negotiation and influencing skills with insurers and other stakeholders.
10. High level of technical knowledge within commercial insurance across a range of product lines with a minimum qualification of Dip CII, preferably working towards ACII. A good understanding of the advised sales process and how to mitigate risk of mis-advice.
11. Ability to develop and execute strategic plans focusing on renewal retention and growth opportunities.
12. Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to lead and motivate high performing teams.
13. Confidence in making presentations to outside commercial organisations in the form of workshops and/or sessions at national conference or sector round table discussions.
