Job Description
Our client is actively looking to source a number of Marine Electrical Field Service Engineers. You will travel globally to vessels supporting the clients with operations & repairs. With full support from the office-based engineering team, you will act as the company representative on every job you attend.
The clients are well established and well-regarded within the Renewable Energy and Maritime sector.
Responsibilities (Brief Outline):
1. Build
2. Installation
3. Commission
4. Sea Acceptance Test (SAT)
5. Repair
6. Overhaul
Key Points:
1. Assist with the final stages of production of the kit in the workshop (this enables you to understand this particular product before your immobilised)
2. Install the kit on new build and retrofit vessels across the globe
3. Commission the kit on new build and retrofit vessels across the globe
4. Conduct Sea Acceptance Tests of the kit across the globe
5. Perform acceptance testing of the kit
6. Provide operational support across the globe
Qualifications / Other Requirements:
1. Ability to work across the globe
2. Willingness to be either at sea or away from home for a 6-week rotation (this is not every job, purely a part of the role)
3. Full UK Driving Licence
4. Full Passport - Unrestricted
5. Confidence in communicating with all persons on board a vessel at sea or in dock
