Accounts Payable Specialist Full-time/ Permanent Location: Ballyclare Benefits: Salary up to £32,000 Matched Pension Cycle to work scheme Gym Membership Life insurance On-site parking Role Overview: The successful candidate will join a well-known family business based in their headquarters in Ballyclare and involves responsibility for a range of duties as outlined is a full-time position working 37.5 hours per week with flexibility required to meet deadlines as addition to a competitive salary we also offer a benefits package that includes generous holidays, holiday purchase scheme, a company pension scheme with enhanced matching contributions, a health cash plan for your everyday healthcare needs, death in service benefit, reimbursement of gym/leisure centre membership etc. Key Duties and Responsibilities: Manage Accounts Payable process: Process supplier invoices, compile monthly supplier payment runs, reconcile supplier statements etc. Processing interdepartmental invoices and allocation to cost centres Analysis and preparation of employee expenses Compilation of monthly KPI's to enable decision making Preparation and posting of journals at month end, including accruals and prepayments Preparation and submission of VAT returns Stock reconciliations and assisting in stock control and reporting Required Criteria: Possess previous experience of the key duties and responsibilities Possess excellent general IT skills including advanced level experience of Microsoft Excel Have previous experience of using accounts packages Be self motivated and enthusiastic Have excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate and liaise well with staff at all levels across the business Have the ability to pay attention to detail and solve problems efficiently Have strong organisational and prioritisation skills and an ability to structure work load efficiently What you need to do now If you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, or call us now.
