Experienced Accounts Assistant or Accounts Senior required to join the Business Services team of this established firm of Chartered Accountants. The firm are known for providing a warm and attentive client service, as well as a supportive workplace for their team members. You will be part of team that provides a comprehensive accounting and tax service for a wide range of sole traders, professional partnerships, and limited company clients. You will be responsible for supporting with the preparation of annual accounts, as well as bookkeeping, management accounting, VAT and tax compliance tasks. You will also have regular communication with clients, ensuring a high level of client service and representing the firm to the best of your ability.
Support and on-the-job training will be on hand, and you will have an experienced team to rely on for assistance and advice. Colleagues enjoy working together in a dynamic office environment, with many working flexible or part-time hours to accommodate family commitments outside of work.
Ideally you will be working in a reputable accounting firm preparing accounts and tax compliance, however, consideration will be given to applicants from wider finance remit with strong ability to manage multiple deadlines. You will have excellent communication and time management skills, and a keen willingness to develop your technical accounting knowledge and experience. Experience of Xero, Sage, IRIS and Microsoft Office package would be advantageous.
