As a key member of NHS PH, you will work as part of a multidisciplinary team which includes doctors, specialist nurses, psychiatrists and therapists, with access to a network of specialist advisors as part of the PH central team. The Senior Cognitive Behavioural therapist will provide highly specialised assessments and therapeutic interventions and offer expert advice, recommendations and consultation to other professionals within the regional and national team. They may also be required to provide advice to external agencies including primary care, occupational health and staff wellbeing support services. The Senior Therapist will be accountable to the NHS PH Therapy and Group Lead (Therapy Lead) who will ensure they meet the requirements of their roles and responsibilities. The Therapy Lead will meet formally with the post holder, although will be available between times. The Senior Therapist will provide supervision and advice to contracted and employed therapists within the service. The Senior Therapist will receive induction to all processes, practices, culture and values of the PH service and be invited to participate in regional and annual networking events.
