BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER– Bradford, West Yorkshire
Starting Salary: £34,000-36,000 per annum (depending on experience)

As a market leader the company is commercially ambitious and financially focused which has seen the company expand into Europe in 2011 with an event company based in Stuttgart, Germany. The group of companies also includes ATM Hospitality which provides Sporting and concert packages to a Worldwide client database.
THE ROLE:
A fantastic opportunity has become available to appoint a Business Development Manager at ATM Corporate Events. This role will be based at our Head Office in Bradford, West Yorkshire. You will be part of a fast paced and dynamic events team who are engaged in delivering a wide variety of corporate events to clients. The role focuses on bringing in event business from our existing clients and a new client prospective point of view. The candidate will need to come from a Sales lead background with experience of bringing in new sales business. You will need to work as part of a team but enjoy the backing and rewards of being part of a growing company.
THE ROLE WILL INCLUDE:
* Research and identify new business opportunities - including, growth areas, trends, customers, partnerships, products and services - or new ways of reaching existing markets
* Meet with customers/clients face-to-face or over the phone
* Foster and develop relationships with customers, clients, partners and sponsors so that you can generate repeat business as well as finding new opportunities
* Understand the needs of your customers and be able to respond effectively with a plan of how to meet these
* Generate leads and introductions to the team including the appropriate contact in an organisation
* Think strategically - seeing the bigger picture and setting aims and objectives in order to develop and improve the business and reach new audiences
* Lead on and support bid-writing for new contracts where appropriate
* Have a good understanding of the businesses' products or services and be able to advise others about them
* Discuss promotional strategy and activities with the marketing department
* Research and attend seminars and events to build your business's network and profile
* Keep abreast of trends and changes in the business world.
* Meet Sales targets and help plan sales campaigns
* Be available to attend events (This can be during the week, Evening and Weekends)
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
* 3 years minimum sales manager experience.
* Proactive & enthusiastic person with the ability to work independently
* Evidence of meeting Sales and Networking targets
* Strong & professional telephone manner
* A team player with the ability to lead on multiple projects
* Excellent organisational skills
* Self-starter attitude
* Ability to effectively manage own time
* IT skills, ability to work effectively using internal systems especially MS Office
