The Headteacher and Governing Body of this nurturing primary school are seeking to appoint a highly motivated individual who has high expectations of themselves and for pupils in their care.
The successful candidate must show commitment to delivering the school policies and will be a highly flexible individual in order to take on a variety of roles across the school. They will work closely with class teachers to support classroom practice, the ALNCo to support pupils’ individual needs and may at times be asked to cover classes whilst teachers attend meetings. They must be committed to supporting pupils to achieve their best in a range of different contexts.
The school is seeking to appoint someone with excellent numeracy and literacy skills with an understanding of child development. They will also need highly effective interpersonal skills to establish strong working relationships with our team as well as parents / carers and external agencies when required.
Under the Education (Wales) Act 2014, all School Learning Support Workers must be registered with the Education Workforce Council (EWC).
