Laboratory Equipment Engineer/Scientific Equipment Coordinator
Location: Site based in Harrogate
Schedule: Monday - Friday

The role of Laboratory Equipment Engineer:
1. Ensure prompt, flexible, customer-focused specialist engineering and equipment triage support for a range of laboratory equipment whilst maintaining compliance with statutory, regulatory, and standards.
2. Diagnose faults on complex equipment and systems to produce a satisfactory solution.
3. Create, manage and review supporting documentation e.g., service reports.
4. Support users in the preparation/design of operating procedures, SOPs, Change Control and the deviation, manuals, and drawings.
5. Escort onsite visiting vendors to appropriate work areas within laboratories and comply with client site induction processes.
6. Carry out regular asset sweeps (and potential for re-tagging of equipment).
