As Head of Private Client, your responsibilities will include: Leading and developing the Private Client team while providing direction and mentorship. Managing a diverse range of private client matters, including Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney, Court of Protection, Trusts, and Probate. Delivering exceptional client care, ensuring that all matters are handled efficiently from inception to resolution. Supervising and supporting junior staff, including paralegals and assistants. Cultivating and nurturing strong relationships with clients, agents, and colleagues. Expanding the team and enhancing the Private Client offerings to better serve the clients. Qualifications and attributes: STEP Qualification (or actively pursuing). At least 10 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) with a solid track record in managing complex private client matters. Extensive experience in wills, probate, estate administration, and powers of attorney. A strong ambition to build and lead a team with a vision for departmental growth. Confidence in managing a caseload independently, supported by administrative staff. Outstanding communication skills and the ability to form and maintain strong relationships with clients and colleagues. An enthusiastic, compassionate, and adaptable approach to client care.
