Global Manager - Digitalization and Innovation
The Global Digitalization and Innovation Manager will drive the strategic development and implementation of digital solutions and innovative processes for the Medical and Retail sectors within the Testing, Inspection, and Certification (TIC) industry. This role focuses on leveraging digital transformation to enhance operational efficiency, ensure regulatory compliance, and deliver innovative value-added services to clients globally.
Job Description
* Develop and implement a global digitalization strategy aligned with the organization's goals for the Medical and Retail segments.
* Identify emerging trends and technologies (e.g., AI, blockchain) to improve testing, inspection, and certification workflows.
Innovation Leadership:
* Lead cross-functional teams to design, pilot, and deploy innovative solutions, including automation and data-driven tools for quality assurance and risk management.
* Foster a culture of innovation by identifying opportunities for new digital service offerings.
Operational Excellence through Digitalization:
* Enhance processes like remote inspection, predictive analytics, and digital documentation to optimize speed, accuracy, and scalability of TIC services.
* Collaborate with IT teams to develop and implement customer-centric platforms and tools that improve transparency and engagement.
Client-Centric Solutions:
* Work closely with Medical and Retail sector clients to understand their challenges and co-create innovative, digitalized solutions that enhance their supply chain compliance and quality.
* Develop reporting dashboards and analytics tools that support decision-making and demonstrate value.
Stakeholder Collaboration and Management:
* Partner with global business leaders, operations, and technology teams to ensure alignment of digital transformation initiatives.
* Serve as a key point of contact for digital innovation, influencing and driving engagement across internal and external stakeholders.
Compliance and Risk Management:
* Ensure digital initiatives meet industry-specific regulatory requirements and support clients in managing compliance through innovative TIC solutions.
Performance Monitoring and Reporting:
* Track KPIs related to digital innovation projects, ensuring measurable improvements in service delivery, cost savings, and customer satisfaction.
* Provide updates and recommendations to senior leadership.
What we expect of you?
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Business Management, IT, or a related field.
* 8+ years of experience in digital transformation, innovation, or program management.
* Previous experience in the TIC industry, particularly in the Medical and/or Retail sectors, is preferred.
* Proficiency in emerging digital technologies (IoT, AI/ML, blockchain, automation, and data analytics).
* Strong understanding of ERP, CRM, and digital customer platforms.
* Proven leadership experience in driving global projects across multi-disciplinary teams.
* Ability to collaborate with senior stakeholders, partners, and clients.
* A forward-thinking, creative approach to identifying and implementing innovative solutions.
* Demonstrated ability to analyze market trends and integrate new technologies effectively.
