Infinity Employment are seeking Automotive Quality Engineers to work on behalf of our Industry leading client, specialising in providing Engineering Solutions to various sectors. This contract will be based in Coventry for 6 months, highly likely to be extended to 2 years. Must have an automotive background and experience within a manufacturing environment. For the right candidates, more contracts will follow. LTD £28 - UBR £27 - PAYE £23 - O/T available. Responsibilities: Develop, implement and maintain quality control systems and processes to ensure that products meet customer and industry standards Ensure that products are of the highest quality through inspections and testing Analyse and document defects and feedback from customers Develop and maintain quality assurance standards to ensure compliance with customer requirements Review test results and product specifications to ensure accuracy and completeness Develop and maintain quality control systems to ensure consistent production quality Analyse and document production processes to identify areas of improvement Conduct required audits to verify product and process quality Provide technical guidance and training to production personnel on quality control protocols and procedures Skills: Analysing defects and quality issues in automotive components Developing and implementing quality control processes and procedures Designing and executing tests to assess product reliability Developing quality metrics and reports Maintaining and improving quality standards Qualifications: Bachelors degree in engineering (or equivalent experience) Knowledge of automotive and manufacturing processes, quality management systems, and related standards Knowledge of quality management tools and methodologies (i.e. APQP, PPAP, CMM) Knowledge of compiling a FAIR, raising balloon drawings, use of Visual FAIR and overcheck requirements Knowledge of customer approvals and specifications (most notably Bently, Ford, Jaguar, Rolls Royce) Proficient in data analysis, problem solving, and root cause analysis Strong interpersonal and communication skills Personal Traits Strong attention to detail Ability to troubleshoot and analyse problems Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong organizational and time management skills Hours: Monday Thursday 8am 4pm Friday 8am 3.30pm Pay: LTD £28 - UBR £27 - PAYE £23 - O/T available.
