Bespoke Handling are currently recruiting for a Junior Freight Forwarder working within our Sea and Air Freight department as part of our small but dedicated team, supporting automotive and motorsport logistics across the UK, mainland Europe, and internationally. The candidate will be enthusiastic, willing to learn and be driven for a career within the Automotive Logistics industry. This role is ideal for a graduate or someone looking for a new career as there will be lots of opportunities for learning and progression.

As Bespoke Handling continues to grow, the key responsibilities of the Junior Freight Forwarder role will be to efficiently and effectively deploy resources to ensure that all logistics are executed on time and according to plan, while also being proactive and reactive as and when plans change.
Once full training has been given, the role will require planning and optimising shipments for all logistics activities, equipment and parts throughout the UK, Europe and to global destinations. It will require working with departments within Bespoke Handling, freight partners and international agents, to find the best solution to provide our customers the highest service.
The role will suit someone who is proactive, organised and keen to learn within an exciting company where everyday provides a new challenge.
The role / duties
* Receiving customer requests and supplying quotes tailored to each customers requirement
* Making bookings and liaising with suppliers and local agents
* Keeping customers informed of progress at every stage of the shipment
* Invoicing jobs when they are complete
* Complete documentation and certificates when required
* General administration and telephone work
Essential skills
* Organised with a strong attention to detail
* Good communicator
* IT literate, especially within excel/numbers
* Team player
* Good sense of humour, we are a small fun team
* Driving license required due to location
Salary competitive, and based on experience
