Project Director – Mixed Use Development

Target salary: £95,000 - £110,000
We are seeking a highly experienced Project Director (or somebody ready to step up into this role) to lead the delivery of a landmark mixed-use development in South Wales. This transformative, long-term project includes residential, commercial, retail, and energy infrastructure – anchored by a state-of-the-art data centre.
The Opportunity:
This is a unique chance to shape and deliver one of the most ambitious developments in the region. You’ll play a key leadership role from planning through to design, construction, and final handover. The role requires working closely with local councils and stakeholders to secure approvals and drive the project through all stages of its lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the project through planning, design, construction, commissioning, and handover.
* Build and maintain strong working relationships with local authorities, councils, and all relevant stakeholders.
* Oversee all aspects of the development including residential, commercial, retail, energy infrastructure, and data center components.
* Manage large teams, drive performance, and ensure delivery in line with budget and timelines.
* Act as the senior point of contact for all project communications, decisions, and risk management.
Required Experience:
* Proven success delivering mixed-use developments valued over £200 million.
* Deep knowledge of UK planning and approvals processes.
* Strong technical understanding across multiple asset classes, including data centers and infrastructure.
* Leadership of large, complex projects from concept to completion.
* Background in construction project management at Director level or equivalent.
