Senior Project Engineer (Electrical)
Location: The Malthouse, Tidmarsh Lane, Oxford, OX1 1NQ
Salary: £47,085 - £55,895 with discretionary to £60,921 per annum
Contract: Permanent, Full-time
About Us:
Join the University of Oxford’s Engineering & Estates Maintenance Team, where you’ll play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing our electrical infrastructure. We value innovation, professionalism, and a commitment to excellence.
Role Overview:
* Be the University expert in electrical services, setting and delivering the strategy and standards for safe, effective and efficient electrical systems.
* Deliver the programme for all electrical asset replacement works, setting priorities with due regard for safety, efficiency and budget.
* In support of electrical projects, provide technical leadership to Project Managers, Consulting Engineers, Installation Contractors and University departments.
* Lead and support colleagues in the electrical operation teams to achieve our vision.

Selection Criteria:
* Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
* Chartered status or working towards it.
* Significant experience in electrical engineering operations.
* Strong project management and budgeting skills.
