Liquid personnel is hiring for a Adult occupational therapist to join the team at Walsall Council.
What will your responsibilities be?In this role, you will work within the Intermediate Care Team to provide occupational therapy assessments and interventions. You will support adults to regain independence and improve their quality of life following illness or injury. Your responsibilities will include assessing the needs of adults, developing and implementing care plans, and providing therapeutic interventions. You will work closely with other healthcare professionals, social workers, and community organizations to coordinate care and support for adults. Additionally, you will provide advice and support to families and caregivers, ensuring they are equipped to assist in the rehabilitation process. You will maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all assessments, interventions, and outcomes. Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings and contributing to the development of service improvements will also be part of your role. Finally, you will engage in ongoing professional development and training to stay current with best practices in occupational therapy.
Qualifications and Experiences: To be successful in this role, you must have registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC), be eligible to work in the UK, hold a full UK driving license, have post-qualified experience, and hold a degree level or equivalent qualification in Occupational Therapy.
