Stanley Consultants is hiring a Project Manager to be based out of our RAF Lakenheath project management office. While on site with our client, you will be responsible for integrating project delivery and accountable for meeting project objectives through both design and construction phases. You will be a team player and will contribute to the delivery of multiple projects to performance, cost and schedule parameters. Joining our existing project management team, you will bring a wide range of project management skills, knowledge and experience of working closely with a U.S. client, as well as many U.S. and UK stakeholders from multiple disciplines (from commercial to engineering) to manage projects and deliver against challenging timelines. From day one, you will be involved in coordinating and facilitating integration amongst project stakeholders on designs for projects in excess of £4 million, ensuring client responsibilities are accomplished to facilitate the contractors construction programme, and monitoring scope, cost, and schedule in coordination with Defence Infrastructure Organisation project managers and the U.S. design and construction agent. We are looking for an experienced Project Manager with well-developed professional and commercial skills and a proven track record of working on complex facility projects. Your ability to build effective relationships, work collaboratively with a team of people from across multiple organisation’s and be influential in driving decisions - are all critical skill sets required to successfully fulfil this role. Required Qualifications: Strong focus on Health and Safety Well-developed and proven project management skills with relevant professional certification (PMP, AMP, Prince2) Experience in procurement development and management Experience working in the Defence sector Effective communication skills Effective Stakeholder management Proven track record of delivering complex facility projects Evidence of working collaboratively with clients and suppliers to deliver positive results Upholding professional and ethical behaviour in everything you do Good practical application of Microsoft 365 Full UK driving licence SC clearance or suitability for SC clearance Preferred Qualifications: Experience working with U.S. Visiting Forces Project Management/Engineering/Construction related degree Ideal applicants will be members of a recognised professional institution.
