Job Title: Credit Controller Overview: An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled and experienced Credit Operations Senior to join a high-performing team within a leading global company. This role is part of the Sell to Cash (STC) team and plays a pivotal role in delivering world-class credit and debt management across Ireland. Working closely with key stakeholders, the successful candidate will drive the improvement of processes and contribute to the overall success of the business. Key Responsibilities: Report and share performance metrics at monthly meetings, ensuring alignment with business objectives. Support collaborative relationships across internal teams, particularly with Sales, to balance credit management with growth. Lead or support continuous improvement initiatives in line with strategic objectives. Enforce governance rules surrounding Credit Policy, Credit Insurance, Risk Criteria, and Control and Risk Management (CARM) processes. Oversee balance sheet reconciliations and collaborate with auditors to provide samples for testing. Deputise for the Credit Team Leader in their absence. Assist with KPI reporting, analysis, and commentary to drive performance improvement. Work closely with Credit Executives and external legal service providers to optimise debt recovery. Contribute to building credit capabilities through local and global learning programmes and coaching.Leadership Responsibilities: Foster great relationships both within the team and across the wider business. Prioritise tasks effectively to ensure consistent high performance.Qualifications & Experience Required: Minimum 5 GCSEs (Grade A-C) including Maths and English. Third-level education preferred. At least 5 years of experience in a Credit or Risk role. Proven track record of consistently delivering high-quality results. Strong systems capability (SAP, Excel, PowerPoint preferred). Experience in decision-making in customer-facing or commercial roles. Ability to influence and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Knowledge of the legal aspects of insolvency or debt recovery is advantageous.
