Responsibilities of the Science Teacher: Deliver high-quality Science lessons to students across Key Stage 3 and 4. Foster a passion for scientific enquiry and ensure students understand scientific concepts. Develop engaging, creative lesson plans to stimulate student interest in the subject. Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to encourage improvement. Prepare students for GCSE examinations, ensuring they meet or exceed expected learning outcomes. Requirements of the Science Teacher: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification. Experience teaching Science in a secondary school setting. Strong knowledge of the national curriculum for science. Excellent communication skills and the ability to inspire students.
