About us
Stirchley Medical Practice is based in South East Telford, and serves a population of approximately 25,000. We work over 2 sites, in small teams, with the aim of providing personalised care for our patients. We have a large primary care team consisting of ANPs, pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, social prescribers, first contact physiotherapists, and UCPs. We value the importance of teamwork, and are a supportive practice, encouraging all our staff to partake in regular breaks and social events. We are a training practice and host medical students from Keele University, as well as training student nurses and nursing associates. We offer 15-minute appointments for routine care, as well as an internal buddy system for support, which newly qualified GPs have found useful. We are an active member of the South East Telford Primary Care Network. We work in an area with high deprivation, which brings its own challenges but also a very rewarding career as a GP.
