About the Role:

We're seeking dedicated tutors to provide 1:1 support in Maths, English, or Science for children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) or Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) challenges. This role involves working closely with local councils to support children who have additional funding for tuition. Sessions may take place in the child's home, school, or local library

Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver tailored lessons to meet the student's individual learning needs and goals
Create a positive and supportive learning environment to help students build confidence and engagement
Adapt teaching strategies to accommodate children with SEN/SEMH challenges
Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback to parents, schools, or local authorities as required
Work collaboratively with schools and families to ensure the child's needs are met
Maintain accurate records of sessions and comply with safeguarding protocols
Requirements:
Experience supporting children with SEN/SEMH is essential
Right to work in the UK
Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to undertake one)
Desirable Qualifications:
Teaching qualifications (QTS or PGCE)
Minimum 1 year experience teaching/ tutoring
