Senior Front End Developer Salary: 40,000 - 70,000 GBP per year

Requirements:
1. You should have 4+ years of professional experience developing responsive, accessible web applications.
2. We expect you to be an expert in modern JavaScript frameworks, particularly React, and proficient in TypeScript.
3. A strong command of HTML, CSS/SCSS, and a solid understanding of UI/UX design principles are essential.
4. You should have experience building and maintaining reusable components while adhering to best-practice coding standards.
5. We are looking for someone with a proven track record of problem-solving and innovation in web development.
6. Familiarity with API development and consumption, as well as experience integrating third-party services, is required.
7. Knowledge of Shopify would be advantageous.
8. Familiarity with monorepo development environments (Nx, Turbo) is a plus.
9. Proficiency with package managers (Yarn/NPM), task runners (Vite, ESBuild), and design tools (Figma) is important.
10. Understanding of JAM Stack architecture, headless CMS systems (e.g., Sanity.io), search solutions (e.g., Algolia), and CI/CD workflows (Github Actions) would be beneficial.
11. You should be able to implement front-end testing strategies (UI, E2E, Unit, Integration) and optimize website performance.
12. A passion for continuous learning and staying updated on the latest development best practices is essential.

In this brand-new role as a Senior Front End Developer, you will join our team of Engineers and be a key player in the development of our e-commerce platforms and digital transformation programs. You will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies, driving our mission to empower learners to redefine their careers. Working within a small, agile team, you will lead the development of a new e-commerce website and an exciting new platform. Your responsibilities will include developing and enhancing the user interface of these platforms, leveraging your expertise to select the most appropriate tools and technologies to support our technology roadmap.
