JR230: Sales Manager
Location: UK Based
Salary: £60,000 Per Annum + Bonus
Overview:
First Military Recruitment are currently seeking a Sales Manager on behalf of one of our clients. Our client encourages applications from ex-military personnel; however, all candidates will be given due consideration.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Develop business opportunities for MW radio equipment, optics equipment, services, and turnkey solutions.
2. Be responsible for the sales budget and customers assigned.
3. Search and study new opportunities to be presented as business cases for approvals.
4. For the approved opportunities, be accountable for all sales process phases (from the trial to the commercial contract negotiation and day-to-day delivery, up to invoice and payments).
5. Collaborate and manage cross-functional activities involved in the sales cycle such as pre-sales, services, and customer support.
6. Provide detailed monthly reports on opportunities, customers, competitors, and issues.
Skills and Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Telecommunications/Electronics.
2. 2+ years of sales experience.
3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
4. Knowledge of the Telco infrastructure market.
5. Awareness of the purchasing process within Telco operators.
6. A network of contacts within operators and the market.
7. Technical experience is welcome.
8. Availability to travel and meet customers weekly.
